Do you really think that the Padres are going be worse than last year?

They are much improved from last year and definitely have a shot to compete next year. Last year they were just filling in holes with guys like Walter Silva, Shawn Hill, and Kevin Correia(what a great surprise) but now they enough pitching in case someone goes down. The bullpen is very strong and they have pretty good defense. Full years out of Venable, Blanks, and Cabrera will give the line up a healthy change for the better. With Headly moving back to his natural position he should improve his numbers as well. If Chris Young can stay healthy he can lead the pitching staff with solid numbers. This team will be exciting to watch.
