Does this set a future precedent for other POWs?

It would set a precedent if I was a soldier in the field (I was in Vietnam and am too old to serve now in case anyone is wondering). I would question why Obama wants these terrorist tried in U.S. courts rather than military courts; I would look at the tax dollars that would be spent having to try these people; I would look at the detainees that have been released from Gitmo and returned to join up with their terrorist buddies; and, I would consider the sympathy the far left has for these people and then I would adopt a "no prisoners" policy. Take care of them in the field. That would be my precedent.
