Is there a way not to file as a dependant using FAFSA?

I currently do NOT live at home, do NOT receive any financial help from my parents (who are divorced) and will NOT have an eligible co-signer for any financial aid loans. In all sense of the words, I am on my own as far as my education is concerned. Is there no way to apply for a special instance where I can apply as independent while using FAFSA? As far as real life is concerned, I have no help from my parents and as far as loans are concerned I can't get one without a co-signer. How do I avoid from getting penalized for have unsupportive parents?
