I love commedy, like Terry Pratchet and Douglas Adams. I also love horror/ suspense/ mystery, such as the Hannibal series and several 1800's gothic books (Dracula, Edgar Allen Poe, etc). But I especially love the combination of the two: Darkly Dreaming Dexter, by Jeff Lindsay, and Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital series. (Pratchet and Niel Gaiman's cowritten book, Good Omens, is another favorite as well as the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde). So does anyone have recommendations for combinations of horror and comedy?
